Three pieces of cut Variscite slabs, perfect for some beautiful green cabochons. Two slabs have natural edges, one in light mint green with grey veining and matrix inclusion, and one in gemmy green with white matrix. The third is both light mint and a deeper green, with some cut edges.

Variscite is type of mineral similar to Turquoise, mainly differing in its crystal system and lack of copper within its chemical makeup. It is formed from water depositing phosphate ions onto aluminum-rich rocks. Its shades of beautiful green colors come from inclusions of chromium or vanadium.
