This natural piece of Variscite appears to be a little piece that broke off a larger vein. It has a nice mint green color and grayish matrix.

Variscite is type of mineral similar to Turquoise, mainly differing in its crystal system and lack of copper within its chemical makeup. It is formed from water depositing phosphate ions onto aluminum-rich rocks. Its shades of beautiful green colors come from inclusions of chromium or vanadium.
