This polished Turkish Stick Agate specimen features a center of black and purple banding surrounded by golden yellow with stick-like pseudomorphs in reddish brown.

Agates from Cubuk, Turkey often feature pseudomorphs formed from agate replacing anhydrite crystals. The original crystals formed the stick-like pattern, and over time chalcedony formed around, between, and inside the hollow areas of the anhydrite crystal.
