Indonesian Stick Agate is a beautiful, translucent, golden-colored agate with colorful "sticks" spraying in all directions throughout the material. The "sticks" can have beautiful reddish to pink to white coloring.

This material is interesting as the soft chalky outside quickly gives way into sold agate. This material does have small druzy vuggs throughout and does contain some natural fracturing. It is recommended, when cutting this material, that if you encounter a fracture to rotate the material and continue cutting in the opposite direction. The beautiful agate can start out almost clear and gets darker and more translucent, almost to the point of opacity. That as a backdrop to the colorful sprays of "sticks" makes for some very exciting material.
