Selenite (satin spar) is a form of Gypsum and contains translucent colorless compact fibrous aggregate with a chatoyant appearance, and is often said to glow like the moon. This candle has chatoyant selenite and Moroccan black limestone with occasional pieces of Orthoceras fossil.
