REL127 Laguna Lace Agate Slab
This polished Laguna Lace Agate slab features different sections of lacey banded agate interrupted by sections of crystal, with white sagenite sprays beneath. The agate shows mostly white with hues of yellow and red, and spots of parallax.
*The unpolished back of this piece has a saw mark and chunk of rough where the slab broke off of the larger piece of rough.

Laguna Lace Agate, often called Red Lace Agate, comes from northwestern Chihuahua, Mexico in a region known for lace agates. While red and white are prevalent colors, it also frequently shows yellow, orange, pink, or even blue or purple. Sections or bands of quartz are common in this vein agate, as well as intricate patterns as a result of tube formations or pseudomorphs of calcite crystals.
