This large Megalodon fossil tooth comes from the coast of South Carolina. It has beige and dark brown coloring with a polished top surface and an intact, textured root, and weathered serration on the edges.

The otodus megalodon is an extinct species of shark that swam and lived in warm oceans globally, from the Miocene to Pliocene eras. The largest Megalodon tooth ever found has been just under 7 1/2 inches long!
