Kambaba Jasper, widely presumed to be a stromatolite (similar to fossilized algae), is actually a rhyolite found in volcanic rock. It has a solid medium to forest green background, with black circular formations caused by amphibole needles. This material comes from Madagascar, and takes a nice polish.
