Deschutes Jasper comes from a deposit a little east of Biggs Junction, Oregon, near the Deschutes River. Deschutes Jasper is known for its browns, orbs, and scenic patterns. This deposit is now located in a State Park and will never be mined again, but the nearby China Hollow and Beers Mountain claims have been able to produce material in more recent years.
