Amethyst Geodes from Sonora, Mexico. These geodes are partially hollow rather than the "traditional" completely hollow geodes typically thought of. Inside are smaller pockets with individual crystals inside (sometimes double-terminated!) Because of this, we suggest to only crack them open rather than use a saw, otherwise you may saw through a crystal.

Chalky, pale pink and white matrix
Mostly hollow and irregularly shaped with sizes ranging from 4 cm - 10 cm (1.5" - 4") in diameter. Approximately 35 pieces in 10 lb bag.
