This Agua Nueva Agate polished slab features a split of dense moss agate and banded agate. The moss agate shows dark red and yellow to orange coloring interspersed with translucent lavender agate and open spots of druzy. Above this is purple and yellow banded agate with an open druzy pocket and interesting patterns created from tube formations.

Agua Nueva Agate is famous for its striking nodules of colorful banded agate and tube formations. The agate can form in veins and nodules, and shows both banded and moss agate. It comes from Chihuahua, Mexico, roughly 20 miles northeast of the Laguna deposits.
