This polished cabochon is a laminate cab combining Thulite (from Norway) and Agua Nueva Agate. The top shows exceptionally clear agate with fine mossy inclusions in off-white and golden yellow. The areas of translucency within the agate allow the solid pink Thulite to show through and add color contrast to the entire piece.

Agua Nueva Agate is famous for its striking nodules of colorful banded agate and tube formations. The agate can form in veins and nodules, often containing both banded and moss agate. It comes from Chihuahua, Mexico, roughly 20 miles northeast of the Laguna deposits.
